About Alpine Adventure
Our camp leader is a seasoned adventurer and passionate traveler with a unique background as the former CIO of a major bank. He has explored some of the world’s most challenging and beautiful terrains, from the jungles of Burma and Borneo to the peaks of Mount Olympus. He’s also trekked through the wild landscapes of Central Asia and South America and feels right at home in the mountains of the Balkans and the Alps. A year spent living in Grindelwald, during which he hiked every trail in the area multiple times, inspired him to create a camp that combines alpine trekking and overnight stays in the mountains with the comfort of premium hotels. He also cycled around Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, as well as to the famous Reichenbach Falls of Sherlock Holmes fame. Additionally, he volunteered on the iconic Eiger Trail, further enhancing his knowledge of the local terrain and community. His deep expertise and leadership background make him the perfect guide for our summer camp adventures, which will also include certified Bergführer (mountain guides) to ensure safety and an exceptional experience for all.
